At Bronte Girls’ Academy we want our pupils to develop the best possible memory techniques to help you to remember key information to support your learning in lessons!

We are aiming to build effective learning strategies into homework and lessons. This is known as retrieval practice. Retrieval practice using the look, say, cover, write and check method, when done in manageable chunks, is one of the most effective ways of remembering the key facts and concepts that you need to.
